KEA is currently supporting an international non-profit organization in Pibor, South Sudan. Due to extreme flooding, vast majorities of the area including its airfield are flooded so KEA’s versatile and expedite helicopter services are required. Critical medical aid is being flown in to treat and prevent outbreaks of potential illness.

This risks posed to the population are many – from malnutrition to the threat of diseases spreading rapidly as access to medical care is restricted and the floods have contaminated water sources. With a helicopter as the only way to get around to transport medical and other vital supplies, the situation is truly critical.
